Help with post of avionics bits for sim use

Is there a fellow simmer who would be able to help with posting avionics and sim bits on.

I find after winning a item cheap on Ebay, I then get hit twice its price for shipping to Bali. Or some sellers obviously not happy with the low price result of their auction, suddenly find shipping overseas an excuse to withdraw from the sale.

I would just like somewhere to have bits delivered in the US by post or courier and when theres enough to fill one of the USPS international $50 flat rate boxes, post it on.

I am more than happy to pay any and all costs incurred by paypal or bank wire up front.

I think some of us might be happy to help out, but the USA has restrictions on what can be shipped out of the country and the destination has a lot to do with what is allowed.

I personally think that basic electronics and sim parts should be fine, but I am not an expert.

Yes understand that one, also big difference on whats ok to home in Australia as opposed to Bali, any way no restricted stuff.


This is only Boeing bits and other civil aircraft items or ordinary electronics. No warbird stuff.

Some commercial Airliner parts are now on the bad list since 9/11.
If someone working at a Federal Watchdog org would speak up (We know you are watching us) and let us know what we can and can not ship out....

I downloaded the avionics PDF for a quick read.

Basically it looks like any INS related sensors, accelerometer's, high tech gyros and the like are on the black list. Pretty much all guidance sensor components, software and the like. I did not spot anything for normal cockpit panel parts as used in a sim.

Sometimes when I buy stuff on EBay and the seller is in California.....it costs me more than the purchase to ship it here to the east coast too. With the cost of fuel skyrocketing.... shipping is a real issue now.

I frequently ship my work (handcraft ceramics) often 1/2 way around the world and I have a FedEx account for the business. At least here in the USA.... FedEx is doing away with "The FedEx Box" (those two flat rate packages).

They tell me when the supply of those specific packages is gone, the program ends. They also will not ship any of the stock of existing boxes from one distribution center to another. So if there are still boxes in Arizona...... they won't ship them to me here in New Hampshire.

Just went through this about 3 months ago. So be aware that this might not be an option on this end anymore. Apparently in other parts of the world they still offer the program I am told.
