    Hey Steve,

Purely for my own interest, Did you ever get an official word back from the Pm Staff regarding the transference of licensing of the PM software?

Interesting question indeed. If you buy a computer from someone that has let say a valid license of Windows & Microsoft Office for instance, I'm pretty sure Microsoft does not say that the licenses are now invalid and that you must buy new licenses.

But I do seem to recall that PM did stipulate somewhere (can't remember where) you could not do that with PM software. At the very least, they likely would not offer any support for it. I don't know what the legality of either scenario is, but it would be interesting to find out from PM one way or another what their licensing agreement is.

Just to let you know I had an email from someone from PM it is not allowed to sell the software when I mentioned it; it is on their website they claim, though legally dubious and definately room for interpretation our company lawyers told me. Asking about a fee for the license transferral to solve this, they were uncooperative... though perfectly normal/legal with other software vendors. The new owner needs to buy his own licenses...
