FSX Default 737-800 & PMDG 737-800 .air file
Is anyone successfully using the PMDG 737-800 .air file with the FSX default 737-800?
I have copied the file from my FS9 PMDG 737-800 to my FSX 737-800 and renamed it to be the same as the FSX .air file. When i tried flying with it, it seemed to work fine. The aircraft changes pitch slower now, which must be closer to the real aircraft.
Is there anything else i need to do? Do i need to copy some entries from the PMDG aircraft.cfg file to the FSX aircraft.cfg file?

I want to experiment, but I cannot install the -800 or -900 into FSX only the base package (and I don't have the strength to re-install FS9 just to get it). I have no problems flying the-600 and -700 using the FS9 files in FSX, but only for the model and aircraft not the panels. I use Project Magenta for the panels. I would think the same should apply with the -800/900 and you should be able to use FSX 737-800 panel by playing with the cfg. A good site that list all the cfg entries is:
Please post you findings.
