I was hoping to avoid having to use FSX in windowed mode, so I think we are going to try the three graphics cards option with one TH2Go. With the three cards installed we can always experiment with other options and remove one card if we find we don't need it.

I have heard though, that trying to run FSX on multiple displays in full screen mode can cause some serious performance issues? Can anyone confirm this?

FSX is a drain on any machine, the more video cards you run the worse it gets. It will have to be one mean machine to even have a chance at this.

Hey Bob, I posted the specs of the computer we are building at the beginning of this post. It's a hotrod but maybe not the right setup for what we're trying to do???

So I take it most cockpit builders who use multiple monitors, displays the views in windows mode? I just had a look at FSX in windows mode and it's not as bad as I had remembered. With the right setup you could hide the majority of the window frame's.
