    Take off EDDF

This is a video from request clearance to takeoff at EDDF on Vatsim. The purpose with the shot is (besides me having fun) showing people that hesitates to go online how it works/sounds. It takes our hobby up four levels.

    It's a 63 MB zip file. www.simcockpit.se/files/Eddf.zip

Frankfurt tower was the only controller open and therefor he took care of all the clearances.

Nice video Anders, thanks for sharing!

I would also like to ancourage people to fly online. It takes our hobby to a new level of realism and entertainment. It is really worth the effort learning real life procedures and communication, as well as learning to perform them in a real time environment with other people.

I normally fly at the IVAO network (www.ivao.aero), instead of Vatsim, but same thing.

People you deal with are normally very understanding and willing to help those that are starting, so give it a try!! You won't regret it!

    Very cool

Looking forward to try online flying. Have a saitec x-52 stick as yoke so it feels very un-natural to handfly now. When finished with yoke assembly I will try vatsim for sure.

    Thanks for sharing Anders

    Tnx for your comments guys.

If there's anyone interested it would be very fun to do a groupflight online. We just decide departure, destination and off block time.

I'm willing to arrange it (not very much to do). How about Sunday 30/3 18:00z?

I have never flown in the States so if we fly there I might need a hand or two.

edit: I did a groupflight yesterday with fellow SVA:ers from EKCH (Copenhagen) to EIDW (Dublin) and it was really fun. So I guess I'm abit overexited about it at the moment. Still it would be fun to do with some of you guys
