Bargain AST software for Airbus builder

    Hi,

Apologies for the extra plug, but I have just listed a bargain here in the Classified section.

I am selling my Air Sim Tech (AST) software (PFD/ND and FMCS modules) for £200.

These cost 744 Euros in December - grab a bargain !

The software is fully transferrable, as all licences are stored on a USB Authorisation Dongle.

I additionally have written authorisation from Andreas Stahl, proprietor of AST, for the resale of this software.

    http://www.mycockpit.org/Classifieds...hp?product=136

Reason for sale is a change in priorities - I have adapted my cockpit build to be a generic set-up as I love to fly many planes. I am therefore using FS2004 as my software base moving forward. I also have a Bambino on the way on 2 months.

AST is constantly developing and offers a true alternative to Project Magenta, for Airbus builders.

    Best regards,

    David.

** I also have a completely unused Project Magenta Boeing Suite of software that cost 799 Euros, however PM policy prevents me from selling this **

    Hi,

Seems to be very restrictive of PM to not allow a client to sell his or her PM software. After all it's no skin off their nose whoever uses it. Once again I am surprised that software developers can charge the price they do and make life so restrictive. Looks like PM are determined you use their software once purchased so you don't go buying the competitions.

I really wonder what people see in the PM stuff given their restrictions and constant problems with their software.

    Mounty - Ditto !

Gez - Not changing the cockpit - I've not used PM or AST for some months now. My current pit is based around the feelThere Airbus A320, but can also be used with any aircraft in FS.

I have working hardware solutions for the FCU, EFIS controls, Master Warning & Caution buttons, Flight Director switch, Landing Gear lever, T/O Config, and ECAM screen butons ........ but essentially I am now only using FS2004 on the main PC, and a seond PC with some freeware networked gauges on, Radar Contact, and Squawkbox 3.

I have no reducton in frame rates, so for me, this is the way forward. However the more discerning Airbus cockpit builder who wants FULL interfacing with hardware would find the AST software I am selling a great bargain!

    Hey Rob,

It is a real shame that you have been partially mislead. Keep in mind the only reason that David abandoned the PM Boeing software, was because he realized his love lies with the Airbus.

Many Boeing Users of PM aren't having many problems. Yes there are issues that are being ironed out. But for the most part the software is working as required.

Also it i stated very clearly in the license that it is non transferable and you can read the license before you buy the software. Most people never read them. You would be shocked at how a lot of the big companies licenses read!

I'm happy that the conversation stays away from PM ....... I didn't place the post to bash PM, I placed it to help sell my AST software, which is transferable, thanks to the excellent forward thinking, customer orientated attitude of AST.

David, are you really selling AST for £200? It is very cheap if you look at full price.
There are only two types of airplanes that matters. Old and new Airbus...

    SOLD !

Congratulations to our very own Manuel G, who has purchaed the AST software.

It will be on it's way to you first thing tomorrow Manuel

Goose - It wasn't the full suite, but it was still the most expensive modules and it did cost me 774 Euros, so yes a BIIIG bargain. But I wanted a quick sale and I wanted someone else to get the benefit from it.

Thanks to Matt and all for this great forum - as well as being a fab community, it's becomming the 'place to be' for the classified section!
