You can use Photoshop, but you will need the free program that came with Flightsim 2002 that converts flightsim DXT BMP Files to 32 Bit and then you can convert it back, if you want reflective textures.

    Best regards,

    Trev

I think it was fs2002, it was the first flightsim release that also included the aircraft development software (GMAX). I have been out of the development scene for too long, but I think you get the picture.

This is the program i used to convert the repaint http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk...ams/dxtbmp.htm

I would also suggegst getting the Abacus program FS Repaint. Now I never used the program to reapint but it comes in real handy to view the paint outside of FS. I always hated having to fire up FS just to see how my repaint was. When I downloaded the program it had a demo version that was limited in what it could do but like I said I only used it to view my repaints outside of FS. Good Luck

If you have Photoshop use that. I am a Senior Art Designer for an apparel firm and have been repainting for years. There is no program better suited than Photoshop.

I was on the Beta Team for FsRepaint. What a great product. Actually there is a video on the Abacus site that put together on FS Repaint.

Here is my Beaver I built..
