    Fligth Illusion Ovhd Gauges

Today I finally finished the wiring of teh ovhd and connectrd the Flight Illusion gauges.

Using teh G-Step configuraiton program I amm making a search and found all gauges ID 180 - 186. The test funcrion works on all gauges correctly.

On teh PM Systems folder I have the flightillusion.txt with the following entryies

    180, 1, apuegt, 0.72, 4000
    181, 1, cabinclimb, 1, 1000
    182, 1, cabinalt, 1, 2000
    182, 2, diffpress, max 10000, 2000
    183, 1, bleedpsi1, max 80, 500
    //183, 2, bleedpsi2, max 80, 500
    184, 1, fueltemp, 1, 4000
    185, 1, cabintemp, 0.66, 2000
    186, 1, oxypress, 0.66, 2000

On PMsystems I have IO hardware Active but the gauges are not recognised. On the Flight Illusion submenu I have a Not Initialised/Detected. Any Ideas?

I assume that the Control program should run correct? (I am running it). Ia m usign the latest PM and program for the gauges

You just got the order wrong. Install gauges, configure them, Test them, and then sit back and enjoy what you did with a few cool ones. Sounds like you are doing just fine, any pics or videos of them running?

Flight Illusion Gauges are expensive , but very, very precision instruments.
    Completely handmade, great pieces.
I prefer (for money reasons) build the instruments with the servo , using the gauge plate from hispapanels (with the panels kit the plates are included).

But I saw these gauges from a friend that have the standby kit.

Here you can see a video fron the full ovhd working. If you need to see something more specific just ask and will try to shoot it. All cabling of the ovhd (LED and swirches) was finished during Christmas/New Year holidays

I was planning to make a better quality video, but waking up on a Sunday morning at 7 AM by a 6.5 scale 20sec Eartquake doesn't help to have the right mood. Thank god there were no casualties and very minor damage.

Glad to hear everything is OK, after an 6.5 scale Earthquake.

Excellent video... it would be nice to see close ups of the gauges in action.... I know you can't wait to get that overhead, over your head

    Thanks for the video

Great video accompanied with the great music, "The sound of Clicks and Switches". My favourite sound of music. A very nice job.
