And I want to see how fast it goes when the F/A-18 gives thrust.... after blowing away the cabin

Maybe I should supply a little information about that. The Swiss Army had some kind of information event in a little village next to the lake of Lugano. Since they have no airport there, they thought it was a good idea to put the jet on a ship and move it there for a display.
A lot of people complained about the cost of that display and because they felt it was inappropriate to show a weapon on a pedestal. I think they're right and wrong.... It is a nice airplane and the army is proud of it, so it's right to dislay it, but the way how they made it is a bit ridiculous.

However... we have an genuine airplane carrier.... it carries an airplane!

In fact we had a bigger version 30 years ago. Seems it is some kind of swiss tradition to put airplanes on a boat.
