    Google Earth FS

I don't know how many have tried this, or how many of my fellow sufferers also travel a lot for business, and so find themselves in anonymous hotels instead of in the sim building shop in the evenings, but I just tried the Google FS on my laptop and was surprised to find the excellent HUD and the impossible to control aeroplanes that are there.

I was never any good at MFS with a keyboard (I remember using a mouse at one stage in the early days), but having trained myself to a full size ERJ with, thanks to Peter Dowson, predictable response times), I find it impossible to use an on line sim using arrow keys on the laptop without going into uncontrollable rolls. Not to mention the loops!

But next week's trip will be armed with my trusty foldable joystick, just in case.....

Just read this, and suppose I should comment before Maurice does.

Lunacy? What does a hobbyist become after long years of study and practice?

A professional - at least I think that's what they call them these days.

Yeah, it's fun for when at work too- unfortunately I get some wierd RAM issues on the work PC.

I need to try it at home on the FS PC.
