    Networkable FMS/CDU?

Sorry, but the Search function doesnt like CDU or FMS, citing it as being too short to search by, so I ask here:

I have read about VASFmc, and Im aware of another CDU that's under development by a Japanese man that I have checked out, but is anyone aware of a networkable FMS/CDU that I can enter and change flight plan info in besides Project Magenta?

Sometimes you think you know about all the available software out there, and then you find out that you really dont. That's why Im asking, as I need a workable FMS but cant afford PM atm.

    Thanks,

Okay, sorry to dredge this up again, but I wanted to see if maybe someone in the know would respond.

It seems as if there are two free FMC packages out there that are networkable, those being

    VASFMC and P8R.

Can anyone vouch for ease of use and especially if either will show the flight plan info on the PMRJ ND vs. the included ND in the package?

The only way you are going to get them to show up in the PM ND is if they will show it in FS. Then you will have to manualy move the file into the net directory. Oh there might be a conversion that needs to be done first. Been a LONG time since I did this. I think ou have to load the flight in FS, save it, then convert the FS file to the file that PM can read. They use to have a converter on thier site for this. Like I said been a while...

hmmm....I will have to experiment with it. Seems like since I can have the PMRJ ND display an FS flight plan that this might work, but like you said, probably will only show the flight plan before flight, no changes during the flight.
