Mastercard - Powered by Cell Phone Charger

    Hi all,
This is my first post here.
My apologies I'm newbie in eletronic questions

I saw in the manual in order to give an external power source to the master use a AT/ATX with 5Vcc.
My question is : can I use a Cell Phone Charger with this output : DC 5 and 890mA (Nokia phone charger) ?

Is mandatory use an AT/ATX supply or Can I use a charger ?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi

The mastercard will only draw around 500 milli amps. I also use a small power sypply for my mastercard and it works just fine. If you run a lot of leds you will need a bigger sypply. Will have to check the opencockpits site for the spechson the card.
