    Smile Steve 737 Sept 09

    Hi Guys,
Been a while so I thought i would post my cockpit progress.
Have been having a go at making some things myself as am working on a budget. I really enoyed making the seats- thanks to choffmanns seat pictures for the inspiration. I've also had a go at making my own side windows and eyebrow trim.
Looking forward to making some linked yokes and have some replica control wheels on the way- thanks dodiano.

    Anyway, here are some pictures..

    Cheers Steve Everson

Your sim looks superb Steve, Could you tell me how you have mounted your saitek yokes, They look a lot neater and better positioned than my solutions so far and i wouldn't mind emulating your way

Cheers for the complimen Steve! the yokes are mounted on upside down table legs from a DIY store. I then made an MDF Board to fit the screw mounts on the bottom of the saitek yoke- there is a large hole in the middle of the board that the large plastic foot from the leg goes through- its about 5cm diameter threaded- this tightens down on the board ahn holds it all together.
    Hope the pics help!

This turn out to be a fantastic flight deck! I especially like your no. 4 window mouldings. They are so difficult to fit, as they are curved in various directions.
    Keep us updated!

    Cheers

    Hi Steve,

So this is where you have been hiding and why I haven't heard from you!
Your sim is looking fantastic - any plans for one of your movies to show it in action?

Glad to hear you are still building.
    Cheers
    Mike
