Mine is from a Vendor and very nice
Lever sticks out of the panel about 4 "
    wheel is 1 1/2" diameter
Trigger is 2 3/4" back from wheel center
    Lever is 3/4 diam tube.

Gwyn's Design is certainly the easiest I have seen. Goforit!
    Merry Xmas

Re: Dimensions of the landing gear leaver for homemade

Real measurements from the 737-300 (anyway I guess all the 737):

lenght from the Mip to the wheel = 150 mm
diameter of the tube = 24 mm
lenght of the final part of the tube (the one that bring s the wheel)= 45 mm
    wheel diameter = 35 mm
    wheel thickness= 20 mm

I;ve just finished my own. It looks great! I made the lock override but it is inop, just for real feeling and look as well.. it has three positions: up, down and off (central) it is controlled with two microswitches and an interface card (BU0836) and FSUIPC.
