Simkits Gauges For Sale: Brand new USB, ready built

    Hi everyone,

I've decided to sell my simkits gauges.

They are the new USB type and are ready-built, so all you need to do is plug, calibrate and play. They were all built by me to a very good standard (I am an engineer if that helps! ) except the directional gyro that I bought ready-built from Simkits.

All gauges are in full working order and as new condition. They are about 2 months old.

The panel in the photo is not for sale - unless someone buys the lot, in which case I may consider selling it.

    The gauges for sale are:

    Airspeed Indicator
    Turn Coordinator
    Attitude Indicator
    Directional Gyro
    Altimeter
    Vertical Speed Indicator
    Engine RPM
    Fuel L&R Gauge
    EGT/Fuel Flow Gauge
    Oil Temp/Pressure Gauge
    VAC/Amp Gauge
    Lighting Regulator (also USB)
    VOR1
    VOR2

I'll throw in two D-Link 7-port USB hubs for free (worth 40GBP) if you buy all of the gauges.

Also for free, I'll throw in all of the additional servos that were needed to build the engine, airspeed and vertical speed gauges (worth over 90GBP).

I'd rather sell the the lot, all as one, but I could be tempted to sell groups of gauges e.g. the engine instruments or the six 'main' instruments. I have lots of spares for them including the faceplates, so you could make your own custom gauges from some of the 'generic' ones.

I'd ideally like to get close to what I paid for them (kit price), so sensible offers only please. I'll sell the DG at kit cost, even though it was bought ready-built.

Lots of savings to be made here! You would basically be getting ready-built gauges at kit cost! All you need is an ADF, a warning panel and a digital clock and you will have a full Cessna cockpit!

PM me if you need any further info!

    Cheers,
    Ed

May I ask why you are selling them?

    Hi Andy,

It's purely a money thing, what with the credit crunch and all over here. My car, which I heavily rely on for work, died this morning so the gauges have to go as I need to replace it. I was planning on tryng out some FI gauges in addition, but this plan is now out as well. I might replace them with a cheap LCD behind the panel, but I'm not sure it will be that good. We'll see.

The gauges shown work really well, so it is with regret that they have to go.

VOR 1 and 2 now added to the sale

I received the VOR1 and VOR2 gauges that I had on order from Simkits the other day, so I built them up and will be including them in the sale. In light of my recent car troubles, I tried to cancel the order but was unable to, which is why they weren't originally listed. I've added an image above of the two gauges mounted on the panel.

All you need now is an ADF and you will have a full Cessna IFR panel. Perfect for flight training. To complete the panel you only need a warning/annunciator panel and a digital clock, which Simkits will be releasing in USB form soon.

Hi Sammos, welcome to the forum.

I have a couple of people interested in buying the whole lot, but if that falls through I'll be in touch. I'll PM you a price for those gauges you have listed. Are there any others you are interested in?

I have now sold the following:

    turn coordinator
    vor1
    vor2
    engine rpm
    fuel l/r gauge
    oil temp/pressure
    panel

    ... and have these remaining:

    Airspeed Indicator
    Attitude Indicator
    Directional Gyro
    Altimeter
    Vertical Speed Indicator
    EGT/Fuel Flow Gauge
    VAC/Amp Gauge
    Lighting Regulator (also USB)

The VAC/EGT/Airspeed/VS are generic USB gauges and could be made into any gauge you require (say fuel gauge for example). I would be happy to do it for you as I have all of the faceplates or I could supply you with them to do it yourself.

I have some interest in the remaining gauges, so if you are interested it would be good to get in quick!

    Ed
