    Help with F-PLN

I am having difficulty with programming the F-PLN page of the MCDU, specifically trying to enter the way points (AFRIC, G38 etc.) as per JH manual.

when I go to the F-PLN page, it does not look exactly like the one in the Manual. The rows are not the same, even when I scroll up and down. So when I enter AFRIC and need to push LSK2, the reading in that row is different from that shown in the Manual.

Another thing: the screen shown in the Manual shows DISTANCE as 5267 and EFOB as 19.1. In my case both are 0.

Any clue what could I be doing wrong.

    thanks

The software has changed a bit since the last version of the user guide was issued.

You should scroll down that page until you see a line with F-PLN DISCONTINUITY. The waypoint should be inserted into that line.

    Regards
    Stefan
