    737 Cockpit Window

    Hi All!

Did a forum search but could not really find what I was looking for.

I know Engravity makes (or made at some point) cockpit windows for the 737.

Anyone know where I can get just the front two windows? I've got mostly a full pit, but no real room for the full window set.

I did contemplate making them myself out of wood, but would prefer something in metal/aluminum.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Here is my approach to windowd mode:

I will make the sidewindows as well and then use glassfiber and epoxy to make a rigid construction.

Also, I believe FlightDeck Solutions provides windows. You may want to visit them at www.flightdecksolutions.com

I'm sure there are other vendors too.

    Re: 737 Cockpit Window

    Thanks for the info!

Matt - I contacted FDS and at this time they were unable to breakout the window set for me. But definitely top marks for being helpful!

Nax - looks like I may have to go the build route. I have seen diagrams which outlines the specs, so I'll give it a shot. Ideally I'd like to build out of aluminium, but do not think the wife will let me buy a welder's torch!

    Thanks again!

It can easily be done in alu, but there is the issue with welding. Good luck with the build, and do post pics.

You can order at the Aviation Megastore http://www.aviationmegastore.com/737...=355&art=93289

But it has to be made, not in stock and with a down payment. Check there first if it is still possible.

If someone were to order them there, they might just as well order directly from the manufacturer (flyengravity). In stock there

But the question is: Could I order only the front two windows? And if so, at what cost? I'll email Robert at Engravity and see if this is even an option.

    Hi Stef,

I did not find it on the Engravity web site, so mentioned the other link.

    Hi,

I do not know about prices and if they still work with it, but you can try to contact with the blacksmith from Sismo, he used to make personal projects with personal sizes in metal aluminium structures, floor stand with the size you want, windows, complete structure for OVH according to your measures... and everything you need...

    Regards,
