Center Pedestal
Hello all,
As promised, here's some pictures of my progress so far.
The pedestal is made from 8mm MDF for the side panels and 6mm MDF for the top and aft panel. I've decided to make the top panel "float" and attach the hardware to this panel, so everything stays within easy reach in case of troubleshooting or expansions. It took me quite a while to get everything measured out well, but I'm quite pleased with the result.
I haven't made the angled top panel yet, because I'm not sure what will go in there. I'd rather leave it open for now, than having to throw away a panel because it's not useable.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've just found an exception to the rule "what goes up, must come down": the landing gear.

Great Stuff.
It looks like you have put a lot of time and effort into that. You must be very proud.
Show us some pictures when you start to populate it.
