Hi Folks.
I am using 100k log potentiometers for my throttles, but I am not getting full and idle throttle settings. The throttle lever showing on the monitor, fails to reach up to full, or down to idle. Keyboard F1 and F4 shows how it should be.
Am I using the right pots for this, or should I alter the resistance value? Could somebody using potentiometers for this purpose, let me know type of pot and value?

Check your sensitivity settings in control section of FS and Calibrate.

Your post may provide part of the answer. The value of the pots is OK. Usually anywhere between 10k and 100k works fine. But you say you are using log pots. These are used mainly for controlling sound volume, and are not suitable for sim controls. A small movement at one end of the scale will produce a vastly different effect to a similar movement at the other end of the scale.
You need linear pots to give a regular progressive range of control. They can be either rotary or slide types. It's usually best to use about 90 per cent of the physical movement of the pot, with a small unused margin at each end to avoid mechanical stress. Then with a suitable interface card, the pots will usually calibrate reliably.

Yes, use linear pots as Biggles suggests. There's not enough "granularity" at the fast change end of the pot. Your problem will completely go away.
