Cant be bothered with them to be honest!
If you need some of their products, prob better off going through a 3rd party seller as I know some have some really good bargains at the moment!

There is a UK supplier called rcsimulations and I think they still have a quatity of GF166 boards available.
Alex, I was planning on going the same way. A bit gutted to hear they stopped selling the boards!
Nigel.
Here is an email from John Kreig of GF.

So it is confirmed. Now what do we do?
I offered a news announcement regarding the change over, but was snubbed  LOL.
Mitch and I got along fine and communicated with each other quite a bit. He gave me heads up on the transfer of business and said would plan an announcement.
Mitch said he was going to work with the new owners for 30 days, on the first day of take over, all of a sudden Mitch was not there.
Too bad, how people just disappear :( I like Mitch.

GoFlight can go fly! lol
They are not as appealing to me now, now I know that the company themselves are not going to stock these wonderful cards that takes the agro out of building a fine radio for yourself!
"maybe they have some in stock" isn't a reliable source!
I know Mitch and I talked about what would make their products more appealing and we talked about the changing panels, rather then the generic panels they have available. I know he was interested in supporting our hobby.
I don't know anything about the new owners.
Taking the RMK product line off the market is a misunderstanding of our hobby. It's really too bad.
I think the generic product line is a good line for the folks that are not into the detail of some of our builders. I've seen some real nice cockpits with GoFlight generic products.

They really do need to concentrate on making their radios actually look like they are from an aircraft, generally they are over sized, look nothing like a radio and they don't look that good too!
But with the boards you can make a decent looking functional radio for yourself without having to use their 'looks like nothing' panels!
Hence why these boards need to come back!
I must admit, goflight is aimed at the generic pit without a doubt!
Never been a fan of goflight radios due to their less attractive looks but the boards are way too good to go!
Their loss!
Very interesting Matt. I did somehow miss your post on the ownership change.
What is odd to me, and I have quite a few GF units, RMK included, is the RMK requires us to do most of the work, which I enjoy.
Alright, so it doesn't (didn't) sell as many units as the fully assembled ones. However, the product is a finished design that has proven to sell. Why not keep the product available?
GF, if you're reading, I in no way appreciate your decision to remove the RMK product. Wake-up and get them back in production!
Here's a follow-up reply from GF to my question of why the RMK product is no longer sold.
Bottom line we just don't sell that many RMK.So the decision was make
to cut the RMK from our product line.If you are a custom cockpit
builder maybe there can be a arrangement made for you to continue
using the RMK in your cockpits. The person you need to contact if
that's the case is Mitch you can reach him by email at
mitch@goflightinc.com or you can phone him at 503-895-0242
So now I'm really confused as to what is happening at GF. I thought Mitch no longer worked at GF? Why do I even care? I've written enough on this issue.
I wonder if what was sold was the rights to sell and distribute the already fabricated units......not the electronic designs of the circuitry itself nor the raw product components............. and those rights are still held by Mitch? Then Mitch still could dierectly sell the circuit boards if he so chose.
Food for thought.
