PM 2nd Newsletter December 2006

Hello,

a last e-mail at the end of the year... we wish all customers and
subscribers a healthy, peaceful and successful New Year.

* New Mailing List

We are switching away from yahoogroups and to a new mailing list hosted on our server. The frequency will be more or less the same as before. Please go to http://www.projectmagenta.com/support.html and click on the "Project Magenta Mailing List Subscription" page. All that needs to be done there is enter an e-mail address and an optional password.

* New Prices Postponed (February 1st 2007)

Based on customer requests, we have postponed the implementation of the new pricelist to February 1st 2007, i.e. the current pricing is valid until
January 31st 2007. This effectively extends the validity of the old prices
by one month.

A sentence on our Notams page has been making the rounds, taken out of
context it only confuses things more. While our existing customers are not
affected by the change of price when it comes to software support and
updates, they are affected when it comes to purchasing new software they do not own yet. Please contact us if you have any questions.

* Database and Software Updates

We will probably switch to the direct downloads via Navigraph in January
(pending confirmation from Navigraph), in the meantime new conversions and software updates can be found via www.projectmagenta.com/updates.html and www.projectmagenta.com/latest.html

* Old User Forum Messages Conversion

IFSBI has offered not only to host the Project Magenta User Forum, they are also working hard on converting all the old messages to the new format. This will probably involve locking the current forum in the next couple of days and converting the data at the beginning of 2007.
