Mastercard Outputs Problem?

Hi all,
I have my MC connected to a USB exp card, driving 1 display card at the moment. I have Group 1 inputs 0 and 1 connected to an encoder. I have the cfg set to control HDG and display on digits 0-2. This all works great.

I connected another encoder to Group 1 inputs 2 and 3 (along with Group 1 ground) and set the cfg file accordingly. It seems only 1 of these inputs is being seen. I took the encoder out of the picture and used controlador program to test. Looks like several pins are not responding to ground when applied. I saw that inputs 7 and 8 seem to work, so I connected them to the encoder and changed the cfg file. This seems to work.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but seems the MC has a problem. Any suggestions?
