Hi guys, thought I'd take some video of how the sim is coming along and try and give a quick overall view of its makeup.

excellent job drewsta. i find it amazing the immersion factor when you sit inside the sim. Yours is shaped and contured, mine is more like a square box but turn the lights down and the monitors on and it makes a huge difference to sitting in the lounge.
Its going to be excellent fun when / if you finish.
cheers

thanks for the video Drewsta,
I like youre way of modelling in wood, as you show only a saw and a drill
is enough to make a great looking sim.
The dimensions of the windows and the viewing angles feel good.
a question: How did you translate the angles and sizes of the original cockpit to your sim ?
Hey mate, I used measurements from a tutorial by a very talented Ian Cameron. I used those measurements as a base then I adjusted as necessary to suit my sim and space available at the time of starting. There was a bit of guess work in it aswell but wasnt too hard at all.
I can email you Ian Cameron's tutorial if you want it.
Cheers

using a well overthought plan...
I feel searching for balance between "doing" and "thinking" all the time
"thinking" feels a bit lazy sometimes, doing without thinking feels better at that moment,
but the bad feeling will follow later when doing it again.
good to see how an overthought plan can make a difference in submersion-level
*every cm. counts*
thanks for offering the plans but i'm flying a GA-phantasy-(air)bus ;)
very cool video, your sim is coming along great!
Amazing work!!! Congratulations!!
