I started building my own simpit about 1 month ago. What fun this is. I was inspired by http://simpit.christrup.net/ and Roger dodger build your own simpit. So with my wife's support, the journey begins. This Pic is the start, Where it began. Next Posting will show progress.

I'm kinda concerned about your printer..... OUCH, Hard left rudder and you'll be doing all sorts of printing. :) :) :)
