Any MIP I/O Tutorial Available Anywhere?

Hello everyone,

I'm building my MIP and need to learn how to integrate I/O with the simulator via cards, encoders .... etc I have to admit I'm not familiar with the I/O stuff (yet) but willing to learn quickly. I need to interface the landing gear lever actions, annunciators, and lighting. Which master cards do I need and do I need "encoder" cards, expansion cards ...etc I really don't know where to start and which cables should connect to which cards. I'm hoping there is some tutorial, schematics or any way to kick start the learning process.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
