Strange disconnect of USB Expansion card

Hi!

I'm having some really strange and annoying problems with my OC USB Expansion card. I've got 3 master cards connected to one USB Expansion card. This has worked fine for like 2 year now, but suddenly, from sometime after christmas, the USB Expansion card has started to disconnect from the USB. The famous device disconnect-sound can be heared and the USB card in the device list in SIOC changes from a number to a "*". The only way to get everything going again is to reload or restart SIOC.

Anyone have any ideas why this happens?

I also saw that OC is selling the microcontroller for the Expansion card in their webshop with "Last version for USB Expansion controller.". How do I know if I already have the latest microcontroller code or not?
