NEED HELP WITH MCP/FCU V/S SET(WRITE)
First of all, I'm trying to get this to work with Phidget Rotary Encoder (I
don't believe this is a Phidget issue). I have no trouble using the Set
(WRITE) offsets for IAS, Heading, Altitude and Mach. the 540C offset for
V/S set (write) does not work for me.
Let me just start with this, does anybody have the 540C offset working with
any encoder?

Hi Matt,
Yes I'm using the following, no problems at all
offset
5406 IAS
5408 HDG
540A ALT
540C V/S
540E Mach
all writeable and 2 bytes each.
Regards,
Julian.

Julian, thanks for your response. Just curious, what interface are you
using?

Re: NEED HELP WITH MCP/FCU V/S SET(WRITE)
Matt,
Check your email. Have sent my SIOC file, I had some fun getting the display
for the VS to work properly, not sure if it will apply the same to the
Phidgets but might be helpful.
