Welcome WW
What hardware did you buy, and are you still completely lost?
If so, you are good company, coz so are most of us!
Happy New Year to you too.

Re: Hello all from Germany!
@Andrew: thanks!! :D Frankly speaking, FS2 was great as far as the system was concerend; actually I remeber that I've learned all the procedural stuff (ILS, VOR, NDB-navigation) on that very simple system.
And it was monocrome only :D !
Thanks for ur warm welcome!!

Re: Hello all from Germany!
Hi wolfi!
Nice to have another German captain on board this forum. What are your plans for cockpitbuilding? Did you decide on the a/c you would like to build already?
Be sure, there´s a wealth of information on the various aspects of cockpitbuilding here from very many friendly people!
Cheers
Chris
Re: Hello all from Germany!
Chris -
hello! Actually I am focussing on the 737NG as many others do, too. I am trying to fix my problems with the 3 monitors, and what I've learned today is that the VS works fine - only the 2D cuases further problems. So it might be a good solution to add a TrackIR5-System as per now.
Next step should be the FMC and the MCP ...
