Thanks Alex! Back to reality lol.

Louie,
My flap control and position indicator is no where near as polished as yours, but I figure not bad for doing the sheet metal work with a hacksaw and the bends in a bench vise.
I got it assembled this evening for a test fit. I need to make a few of adjustments and add a return spring but it looks like it works as planned. I also checked it in my fuselage and it's a perfect fit. If you look close you'll see that the two gears and the face plate you sent me are in there.

Getting it rigid enough with a two piece bracket turned out to be no problem. I used 4 10-32 x 3/4 rod couplings to join the to plates and it is as rigid as a one piece bracket, maybe even more so. I'm hoping to test it on the pc tomorrow. My only concern is the gear ratio. The movement of the pot shaft is fairly small.

You seriously got the touch Tom! I like it again :D
I tested the gears and they are enough to make it happen. However if it doesn't work for you I have different gear sets in stock or I can custom cut (cdw, bitmap or dwg file is fine)them for you.
Here's an update on the monitor gauge designs. I CNC'd 2 of the bezels and they are 90% perfect I'm 10% unhappy with the result but it's getting to the finish line.

Louie,
Those look like they're just what I'll be looking for sometime soon.
I'm looking at one of two possible solutions right now for my main instruments. Either an LCD pico projector mounted in the fire wall to back project the instruments onto a rear projection surface of some sort, or a monitor if I can find one of such an odd dimension as to have a screen area 14 5/8 wide by 6 3/4 tall. Those dimensions cover outer edge to outer edge of the six pack plus VORs on a 172N's instrument panel. I might get away with slightly smaller because I have not deducted the bezel coverage from that.
Keep the pics coming! You do great work and there aren't enough GA guys out there providing this stuff.
Some of the stuff I previously posted from another thread. I figure it might be a great idea to consolidate all of my projects in one thread.

The knobs on this monitor gauge are already made and I'm still working on a few minor adjustments for the lens to fit behind the gauge bezel.
This is going on my C208B project.

Will these match industry standard gauge dimensions? For my project I need to fit them into an actual instrument panel frame and be able to put the instrument panel face plate over them.
3.375x3.550
the depth is around .5 inch
How's Turkey Day going so far? I can't stop eating:sad:
I ate until it hurt, and then had dessert! Thanks for asking. I hope yours has been good as well.
Is it the square back plate that is 3.375x3.550 ? What about the outside diameter of the round bezel? The openings in a Cessna instrument panel cover are about 3.125" in diameter so I need to be sure the bezels would fit into that.
