Starting a 777 simulator project
Hey, I am pretty new to this forum, I would like to get a few things before i start
Does anyone have measurements for the MIP or the Shell or the windows? Can't seem to find any
How would i put the instruments in small monitors
For now i only need the measurements for the MIP or the Shell or the windows
And anyone know about a company that makes 777 simulator parts?
Thanks :)

Another 777 builder. Welcome.
I have the dimensions for my HC primarily from here

Hello, welcome to the forum, there may also be documents of interest in the downloads section here at MyCockpit.org to assist you.

Interesting project! Most cockpit builders start with the 737 or eventually a A320 but never seen a 777 builder! Looking forward to read about your updates!
Re: Starting a 777 simulator project
Congrats on building the 777! It's an absolutely marvelous aircraft to build and fly. The workbook referenced above is the most comprehensive collection of dimensions I've seen (maybe others exist?). You'll likely have to approximate many of the dimensions. CAD programs like Google Sketchup can help you "preview" your approximations.
For 777 simulator parts try www.flightdecksolutions.com.
To put the instruments in "small monitors", here's a rendering of my 777 sim with the instrument panel removed so you can see how the monitors are arranged:

Then with the instrument panel in place, the monitors seem like individual screens (see below). You'll then need to run avionics software, typically on a networked PC running WideFS. Hopefully I understood your question correctly.

Re: Starting a 777 simulator project
Heres a guy who build the T7 realy good

If you use foam it will be much easy to work with than use wood, for the angles and windows. And you can just make the foam stronger with Epoxy paint
Do you guys build the MIP? or buy it from flightdeck solutions?
