Cessna 172Sp with Garmin G1000 panel

Hello,

I am trying to find a DWG--CAD file of the Cessna 172Sp with Garmin G1000 panel , i found only a pdf file...as you can see in the file added .

I am planing to use CNC ...with this DWG file.

I took a look online for a drawing but pretty much no dice. You can get the Pilots Guide to the G1000 from the Garmin site. Or you can get the full size training poster from Ebay

Another option would be to take several screen caps from your 172 in FSX and then scale them and print that out. You could use the DWG of the 172 you have now to scale the other with. Of course more importantly then getting the actual measurements of the Garmin G1000 is your ability to get the LCD to fit in the space you want to put it in. That is finding the correct size that can be used for the Garmin Sim.

I tried to find an installation guide for the G1000 but it's not retrofitted into a Cessna they come from the factory that way. So they do have guides for other aircraft but that perhaps doesn't apply to your situation. Take a look for the Garmin G1000(R) 'Retrofit' guide. I myself couldn't find it but perhaps you would have better luck. This would most likely have the dimensions of the installation that you would need to add to your drawing.

Another option i have is to use the Cessna 172 old panel because i already have DWG file and i made a 3D model from it you can see it in the file added.

although i do prefer the Cessna 172SP panel.
