FSUIPC how to set offsets on rotary switch

Good day

I'm struggeling a little bit do get my 727 flight director mode control unit to function using the DF727 and FSUIPC. I've interfaced the unit using Leo Bodnars BU0836X card, and it seems to work properly. (the game contoller recognize each position of the rotary switch as button 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6)

The problem is, i can't manage to have i.e. button 3 to respond in the DF727 as fligh director heading mode. And nr. 2 in the off-mode, etc. I've tried the mouse macro function, but this function is only useable for on/off switches, is this correct? I've allso tried to create a log-file, but can't find the off-sets anywhere when rotating the flight director mode control unit.
