There is a 1:1 pdf and an autocad drawing for a 172.
I'm looking For the firewall dimensions not the instrument panel

Using a RC plane plans, and using the 1:1 instruments panel from above, and some others dimensions, i got this with Coreldraw.......

Check out this url: http://mrwebman.com/aviation/cessna/...2_sm_69-76.pdf It has a downloadable pdf service manual which contains the dimensions of the aircraft and a whole series of drawings. Although it does not show the firewall specifically, it does show the outside of the aircraft where the firewall is and you should be able to interpolate the dimensions by measuring the scale of the drawing using things like the wingspan and length and width of the fuselage to get the exact dimensions you are looking for. A google or Bing search for 172 dimension drawings has some similar stuff. Hope this helps.
