Re: Progress of My 737-500
Its been long since I updated. Las time I spoke, I was in the UK now i'm in Australia!:-( As of late, the cockpit has been slowed down, but is slowly beginning to start once again.
A new PC which is more than enough for FSX, eventually P3D. Lately there has been enormous work on the MIP. Housings for the airspeed indicator, RMI, ADI, HSI, Standby panel, Engine panel are all underway. To get an idea I thought I would do what most aircraft companies do and build a mock up of the cockpit before going into the final result. Better to resolve all issues now than then.... Anyhow, I'll share some of the pics of the mock up MIP below;

Apologies for the bad quality (Taken from 20yr old phone!:lol:)
All is looking good so just finding a place to get them cut out of acrylic, then the installment of gauges... The remainder of the aircraft such as OVHD and pedestal can use NG panels, but some will need modification.
Thanks for looking

Re: Progress of My 737-500
What are the major differences between what you're doing and the later CL cockpits with the engine info on the two awkwardly-sized displays? Apart from the displays themselves, I mean. And how easy/hard would it be to adapt your computer drawings into the later variant?
