Well I sure have killed a lot of spiders... Should I consider them "sacrificed"? And if so, what has it not worked??!!
Well, if the guy that told me the following wasnt pulling my leg, it's a belief in Ireland that spiders are a good thing, and right as I was freaking out one morning after looking down and discovering one on my leg, he said not to kill it because it was a 'money spider'. However, Ive killed many a spider, and no bad luck has come my way!
When I kill spiders.... It rains... If that is what truly happens, then it would always rain at Bob's House.. Trust me.. Dude is being infiltrated by Spides....
That is great Maintenance Action... HYDRAULIC SUSTEM B FAILURE ....MECH RESPONSE: KILLED 2 GOATS PROBLEM FIXED!
LOL!!
Roberto
LMAO... If only maintenance could fix things that easy.... ROFL
It's a grand thing I dont live at Bob's, because I would have a crap fit. Hate spiders. I killed (well, the neighbor and I) killed a cotton mouth yesterday that was lying right in the path that I walk the dog. That, I am sure of, brought the whole neighborhood good luck, seeing as it's a viper. Hated to do it, but it's too risky for all the kids and pets in the area.
funnilly enough i just killed one last night crawling across the living room floor about 2 inch wide. hey ata least i dont live in america like some of you guys wher they can be anything up to 5 inch wide! yikes:shock:#
Anyway why are we talking about spiders here on a cockpit building site!:-)
Sorry Gez, to carry it further...Hey look at it this way- When the pit isnt going as planned, we can talk about killing stuff to make us feel better (or worse)!
Back in 2004 when I travelled to Ireland, I was traveling from Kerry up to Clare and while on the bus, I had the pleasure of meeting and eventually sharing a seat with a man who knew quite a bit about the route we were traveling and if youve ever seen the roads in Ireland, you'll know how the bushes on the roadside scrape down the sides of the busses. Anyhow, as we were driving and passing the bushes I had a thought run thru my head. "Hmm...I wonder if there's spiders here in Ireland?". So, I asked him. He just stared at me for a moment, and then said, 'Why do you ask? I hate the *$%*@#$%!" I explained that I was terribly afraid of the larger ones and he confided that he shared my fear. You see, I asked because I saw the bushes and wondered if they were in the bushes like bannana spiders are here in the SE USA and I also had no idea what the dorm or cottage that I was to be staying in would look like (hence, wondering if spiders lived in Ireland). Funny how spiders, being so small, can hold so much power over a person with a fear of them. t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t (shaking my head) :-)
