The next step is to build this from more solid material. Cardboard is nice to prototype in but can be REALLY wobbly. :)

What plane is this supposed to replicate? Or just a generic?
It's a generic shell that properly masks the mirror from the pilot's eye-point.

Just wrap that cardboard in duct tape and you are good to go :D
