PC Build for full simulated cockpit

I am building a new PC for simulation and was wondering if everything can be ran from a single computer if I was to later evolve my sim to a full cockpit for 737NGX? I will be finishing a PC build within the next 5 months that will include the Intel 3930k 6 core that should run at 4.8ghz. I am also waiting for the new Nvidia GTX 685 to come out which will be 1050Mhz and 4g of ram. I didn't know how the technology used all the cores and threads of a system and have seen many people networking multiple PC's.
Also is there anyone who is using Prepar for their full sim? I know it's newer, but I talked with their developers and they are rolling out DirectX 11 soon that will better take advantage of GPU rendering for more FPS.
