Re: 727 real throttle quadrant pricing??
727 throttle quadrants can be between 1000 and 1500 or so for a decent quality one. There's a guy at http://www.northernflightsim.com that can help with stuff and is really good to deal with. Art is a good guy, and has a lot of knowledge on converting old analog gauges into a FS realm, as he's done a 707 sim. Additionally, he has a lot of scrapper friends that can help with acquisition of parts.
I don't know how crazy you're wanting to get, but there is also a 727-200. I was pricing out doing the 727 series, as I LOVE the 727, but the flight deck is so massive that I'd been able to have make the cockpit deck, but absolutely nothing else, so I needed to opt for an airliner that I liked that didn't have the flight engineer and the 12 foot wide fuselage...lol.
If you can afford it, and have the space, I can tell you this is an AMAZING deal:

There are also some refurbished seats for $1200, this has the linked rudder pedals and flight controls, as well as a good portion of completed flight engineer panels, which I understand is *HORRIBLE* to get out of there, additionally a very good quality fuselage *AND* a good quality throttle quadrant. Bear in mind that the aircraft is cut behind the cockpit wall, so you're looking at around a 15-20 foot long section possibly, and the fuselage is 12 foot 3 inches wide. These are the big reasons that I've not already brought this beauty home.

That is a good deal. Mine is 8 ft wide and cut at the bulkhead forward of the SO station. Everything in there you can convert yourself.
