Hey Matt,
Actually it is not true Matt, the APU can be started with Batteries only remember you might fly into field where you donīt have ExternalPower available and leave the plane there, next day you will need to start that APU in order to be able to work... You only have to check your batteries are above 25.5v in order to start that baby!!
