My Cockpit Plan
I am planning on a cheap, simple, home-built, frame-less cockpit. I want three things: a yoke, a throttle quadrant and rudder pedals. I want all of the above styled to the 737.
My plan is this:
- Home-built yoke (around £20)
- Home-built throttle quadrant (around £20)
- Saitek Rudder pedals (less than £20)
Total: £~60.00 GBP
Any tips?

Re: My Cockpit Plan
Up your price drastically!
A yoke can be shaped from wood for £20, and old virtual pilot yoke you could get for £20, a throttle quad for £20,mate if you can make 737 styled quads for £20 then I think SimRevo will have a job for you. Saiteks for £20? That wont happen unless some seller on ebay hasnt got a clue what he's selling or know what it does!

Re: My Cockpit Plan
3 days pffftttt.
I never bid until 3 seconds to go. I have actually won an item with a second to go - that takes some balls.
Ebay - Bid late with the highest you are prepared to pay, it stops some git deciding to bid again.

Re: My Cockpit Plan
I second you on that. I always bid last second. Win everytime! Saying that, I do have to bid my MAXIMUM everytime, people will only bid what they think the item is worth....
Thats why I have the ebay app on my phone, i can bid at work lol and on the go...

Re: My Cockpit Plan
I have that on my ipad (yes, I finally treated myself to one).
I also have a great app in which you point the ipad at a passing plane and it gives you all the details - I wet myself when I found that app anyhoooooo I digress..
Ebay bargains are getting harder to find and some of the buy-it-now prices are more expensive than a "normal" shop.
