You're doing it wrong!
You're supposed to shell over large quantities of Euros or Dollars to companies. Glad to see some people still going old school and really building their cockpits.
Not that there is anything wrong IMHO with paying money for something you can't make or would cost more (time and materials) doing it yourself. In Turkish we have a saying: "The buyer is happyi the seller is happy". Perhaps a good translation would be "to each his own"?
it works for me Efe Cem Elci and the cost of yoke £110:p not £3000 + !!;)
Hi Daz.........
it was done as a spur of the moment thing one boxing day when a friend wished he had a yoke. well being boxing day and full of beer, i said 'no worries - we can do that'...... et voila :o
lot of interest in that idea.
glad it works for you and best of all it was cheap :o
regards
ian
just looking for a cheap 737 yoke for the column now :D
Is there such a thing as a cheap, reasonably accurate yoke/control wheel available??
yes just got 1:D
Nice going, thanks for the inspiration. I'm not there yet (by far), but the idea is interesting and affordable.
Make sure to post some pics when you've got the 737 yoke attached!
