    News Release:
    Introduction of

    Foundation Aviosim theNetherlands
    Stichting Aviosim Nederland

Aviosim was formed by a groupof approximately 50 enthusiastic volunteers, hosting a flight simulator project in the Aviodrome (www.aviodrome.nl) museum, the Netherlands. The museum is known of its yearly FS Weekend, which gathers cockpit builders from all around the world (www.fsweekend.com). In 2011 we united to become a foundation under Dutch law. As a non-profit organization we are now able to raise funds and exploit semi-commercial activities to be able to maintain our project. Visitors of the museum can board our historic B737 static flight simulator and with the help of the professional Prosim737 (www.prosim-ar.com) team they can choose which airfield they wish to land on. Next to this simulator there is a complete instructor station as well as a SARP II Radar Unit (by Hollands Signaal) used by Dutch Air Traffic Control from the early sixties till the late nineties and is now operational via the International Virtual Aviation Organization(www.ivao.aero). In October 2012 the Dutch Aerospace Laboratory (www.nlr.nl)donated a F104 Starfighter simulator. Aviosim also made this F104 flightsimulator operational for the visitors of the museum. Nowadays the simulators are accessible six days a week for all visitors completely free of charge.

Many commercial companies became partner of Aviosim and donated either hardware or they supported us financially. A complete list of partners can be found on our website(www.aviosim.org/partners) e.g. Sismo Soluciones, Simworld, BP, GVB (Amsterdam Public Transport Company) and many others.

Our webshop is one of our main semi-commercial projects. Thanks to the support of both Sismo Soluciones (www.sismo-soluciones.com)and Simworld (www.simworld.pl) we are able to offer clients all over the world the products of these manufacturers with a special Aviosim discount (we are 5-10% cheaper than the manufacturers themselves). All products available can be found on our webshop (www.aviosim.org/webshop).

For a limited time period only we applied an extra discount to all Sismo Soluciones products. The discount rate is now 9% instead of 5%. If you send us your order online and you order Sismo products, make sure you add the discount coupon code “sismo4” on the payment page. This discount is subject to some conditions (only if the shipping address is in the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Norway or Denmark and only if you buy online without a personal offer).

To read more about our project make sure you visit www.aviosim.org. If you have any issues or questions related to our sales activities leave us a ticket (www.aviosim.org/support) and one of our support volunteers will attend to you usually within 48 hours. Any general issues and/or questions can be shared with us through our contact page.

For the Dutch we would like to tell you that we are an ANBI as well (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling). This implies that any donations made will be tax deductible for either corporates or individuals. If you have any questions about this Dutch Tax Department program don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to answer your questions.

    Kind Regards,
    Damien van der Aart

    • Support for Windows 8.1
    • Blends added to single channel setups
    • Global kill switch: Alt+Ctrl+Shift+F10

    Support for Windows 8.1

Windows 8.1 is cool and NTHUSIM is cool. Now they can be cool together! NTHUSIM v3.4 has support for Windows 8.1!

Blends added to single channel setups

So you want to have a single channel, but you want to blend it.
Here's the deal: You bring the content, NTHUSIM will deliver the blend.
It's a great deal. All you have to do is make sure that you have content that has the overlaps in it. Of course, if you're using NTHUSIM Plus on a multi-channel PC it generates the overlaps for you. But if you want to go commando and you've got the content, then the deal is on! Deal?

    Global kill switch: Alt+Ctrl+Shift+F10

Sgt Pinky was taking fire. That wasn't the worst of it. The narrow path ahead was set to deliver a punishing blow. A quick glance at his health bar told him everything he needed: Abort. ABORT!
Sgt Pinky reached for the keys... Alt.. Ctrl.. Shift.. F10. BAM! NTHUSIM disengaged warping and blending.
It didn't help Sgt Pinky. But if you ever have a situation where the screen isn't working the way you want and you want to disable NTHUSIM, you've got an option. It's easy to remember and hard to press: hold down Alt,Ctrl, and Shift. Then press the F10 key.

    All the links!

Shape NTHUSIM to be the way you want it! Post to the NTHUSIM Standard & Plus Version 4.X Wishlist!
The Plus edition supports multiple projectors. Download Plus edition (3.8 MB).
The Standard edition supports a single projector. Download Standard edition (3.8 MB).
NTHUSIM software will run in demo mode until activated. Log in to view your activations.

    SUCCESS !!!!

Well, it's been 28 hours since we restarted Mycockpit.org with a working database and I believe I can finally say "Success."

We've recovered from the intrusion and MOVED to a new, better, and less expensive server. Needless to say, with MUCH difficulty.

Foremost, I want to give my most profound gratitude to David Crist for his countless hours relentlessly working to fix MyCockpit database and move from our old to new server. David spent many hours consulting with various tech support, related to database and server operations, trying to resolve why certain aspects of the operation did not work. David spent many sleepless nights with continued effort to make this a successful mission. Thank You David.

I also want to thank Vybhav's offer and use his Systems Admin person (Steve B.) to help clear up part of the NameServer issues. Thank You Vybhav

And for some of the others who offered to help. Thank You.

And of course I want to thank our membership for being patient and supportive during these trying times.Thank You.

I'm glad we're back in business of helping fellow Flight Sim Builders build their dream at MyCockpit.org

    New Company - Simujabs

Simujabs borns as a step ahead for me. After ten years dedicated to design with and for the best companies on this hobby, it's time to start by myself, manufacturing the designs that all these years I made.

By the moment, only few products are present on the web, but a lot of them are ready to build his protoype and then produced. My policy will be that the prices must be the most fair as possible, to give the oportunity to the customers to have a good product with "the best price" as possible.

Our future developments are mainly focused to start with the A320 systems, that are developed already, also completely assembled modules for some airplanes, ready to connect and fly, with our own electronics suite and with the easiest way to use.

By the moment I'm working with the manufacturing of some projects, and I expect to publish the "real" pictures of these projects soon, in fact we expect do it next week or so.

Please feel free to visit the web at www.simujabs.com, and as I say, if you don't need to buy nothing but need help, don't hesitate to ask, if I can I help you to solve your concerns or issues, I'll do it.

    Thanks, and see you.

    Important News for FSUIPC Users

    Ian P, Sunday, 5 May 2013 @ 14:14

Due to a breach in the security of the GlobalSign certificate used to confirm that FSUIPC is a valid and safe package, the certificate is being revoked. This will require ALL users of the software – whether registered or otherwise and using FSUIPC3 or FSUIPC4 – to need to download and install new versions.
Full details are available by visiting Pete Dowson’s post here on his support forum. Download links are available at simFlight; here, or Schiratti.com; here. For a short time, the following direct links to FSUIPC3 (3.999z2) and FSUIPC4 (4.90) at Dropbox are also live.

Please note that this is not a security breach within FSUIPC itself – it is only the security certificate that has been compromised.

If you aren’t sure what FSUIPC is, or whether you have it, full details can be found on the product pages at simMarket and it can be found within your Flight Simulator 9/modules, Microsoft Flight Simulator X/modules or Prepar3D/modules folder. If you have a file entitled “FSUIPCx.dll” (x is dependant on the FS version) then you need to update, in order for FSUIPC to keep working.
