Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone of you guys had done your own glass cockpit software? Because i suppose that PM glasscockpit had some missing parameter for some planes(e.g. for b744) the Vibration and Oil quantity is missing in the lower eicas. Anyone can help me out?

Thank You,
Raymond

Raymond,

From what i read on PM's site when i bought my software, you need to have pmSystems running in order to get any information on the lower EICAS for the 744. Without pmSystems, you just get placeholders apparently.

Raymond,

The Open Source Glass Cockpit Project http://www.opengc.org/index.html (http://www.opengc.org/index.html) seems a bit moribund, but may provide some useful information.

There is also Flightgear http://www.flightgear.org/ (http://www.flightgear.org/) an open-source simulator that prosumably has glass cockpit components.

Fly This Sim specializes in glass cockpit software. http://www.flythissim.com There is a VERY nice replica of the Garmin G1000. It doesn't get any closer to the real hardware. X-Plane only for now.
