Could someone enlighten me on how to export a SID/Star Flight Plan from FS Navigator to FS9, so the GPS shows the flightplan.

Hmmmm I have not used that software in a long while, but, I do not remember having to import it, I thought you could just load it from the software since it runs with in FS anyway.... ;-)

Hi,

In FsNav you Export the plan to FS200x format. Then you can load it into FS just as any FS flightplan.

Good luck,

Hans

So then, as I undewrstand it, one would create, then save the Fp in FS Nav, then simply open it within FS vi9a the "Load" option?

No, not "Save"! Use the "Plan/Export" menu function, then choose FS2004 format. That you can load in FS...

Thank-you for your replies. With their help I have figured it out. Save the flight plan is FSNav, export to FS9, load the flight plan in the flight planner screen. THe only thing other issue is that the GPS screen shows me some distance of its course line, while FS nav shows me on the line. Any ideas?

No sorry, can't help you there. I seldom use the GPS of FS2004; I get a bit irritated by the continuous flashing of the message annunciator (for messages like "Airspace ahead" or "Inside airspace"; I can see that myself...). But I just tested it a little, and in my setup I have no significant offset between the two.

Anyway, glad I could be of help in the flightplan business!

Good luck,

Hans.
