Gwyn,

I have been gone for the last month and to come home and see this work is great! That is really good work!

I'm going to give a try to making one of those annunciators as discribed by you. One of mine has come up missing from my overhead and the company that use to make them is now gone.

Yes they are mock-ups, probably for a long time but every rotary and toggle switch move the correct amount of places etc, so when the software catches up and more interfaces become available, It will be ready. I like the look of Simkits stuff but I still want to keep it basic and reliable. The sim is show and go and portable, it's a joy to use!
I still have to make loads of shrouds to seal the backlighting from the annunciator globes and work on an enclosure box to house it all, I can't wait to get it in the sim. I had a laugh on Wednesday when the Cathay pilot was here, I picked up the O/H to show him what it would look like and all the toggle caps fell off like snow all over us. They are firmly fixed now!

lol on the caps :D I'm using dummies for a few of the o/h gauges too. Got simkits for EGT, pressurisation, cabin climb and bleed pressure. Just haven't hooked them up yet ... one day ... like many other things ! Simkits now have usb gauges so these would be better me thinks.

Hi all,
After modifying the roof steelwork the overhead panel is installed at long last. There's a few more new pics of it and my glareshield structure here - http://www.mycockpit.org/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=560

Looks fantastic Gwyn!

We just installed our overheads today too, so it's great to be able to compare progress.
