Understanding French would be a plus, but it's still worth a look to see how it used to be done.

WOW I didn't know you can land a jet like that on dirt?? That was a really cool video even though I have no idea what they said other than I heard flaps 20 lol.

Maintenance on aircraft like that must be done more often. Those turbines do not handle stones well.

The Boeing 727 was the first commercial airliner certified for operations from gravel and dirt runways.

It was also the first to be certified for operations from LaPaz, Bolivia (13,358-foot elevation) with one engine out.

No jet airliner had ever operated from this airport.

I'm gonna try that airport with the PMDG 747 he he:cool:
