Installation FS2Phidget 4.00

Hi Guys,

during installation of FS2Phidget 4.00 i found out that it is not possible to do a full installation when the setup.exe is a the same drive than the installation folder. E.g. setup.exe located at c:\ and installation directory c:\program files\fs2... is not possible.

The installation worked until i displaced the setup.exe e.g. to d:\

The massage i got was:

The specified directory: c:\Program Files\FS2Phidget\ is in the Setup source files directory. Please type a different directory.

Do anyone have same experiences?

Let me try a clean install on my system.
I might have screwed install script.
Will get a fix for you.

What folder did you have setup.exe on C: ?

i have setup.exe and rest of zip content directly on root c:\. I have tested it on two different computers and get same result.

If i displace the whole content of zip to root d:\ and start setup.exe it do all it should.

I used the proposed installation path.

Will be problem if you unzip fs2phidget400.zip to root of C:
Have suspicion is subtle bug with VB package wizard.
Must add note to readme.txt

When you unzip on a Windows XP system the default directory is C:\fs2phidget400
Go with the flow and unzip to that directory.
All unzipped files should go into same directory.

i have unzipped to C:\fs2phidget400 and it work. Do i change the target path of zip to other location it wont work. Confused problem.

Thanks for help! Interface looks better and is easier to work with than former version. Great job ;)
