Hi Alan,
is it possible to have a option in FS2Phidget that control the brightness of Led by value of Offset-byte?
We have this funktion in pmSystems, it can control Phidgets-cards.
There we have this option, called MAX2 and MAX4.
It means that if the Offset we use (must be a Byte):

MAX2 // Value 0 = 0, 1 = 50, 2 = Intensity 100
MAX4 // Value 0 = 0, 1 = 25, 2 = 50, 3 = 75, 4 = Intensity 100

It is very nice to control i.e. the DIM / BRIGHT for Fuelcrossfeed with only one LED.
In pmSystems it is working very well.
Do you think you can implement this in your next Update.

Is MAX2 and MAX4 an offset or a user-defined variable?

What is offset for FuelCrossFeed ?

Thomas,

At present it is possible to set LED64 brightness based on an offset value.

Alan.

Hi Jan,
i.e. :
in Variablen file "ThRichter":
[AntiI1]
Offset=579C
Length=1
FSType=Proportional
LoValue=0
HiValue=2

in PhidgetLED4371:
[Output 4]
File=ThRichter.ini
FSID=AntiI1
Enabled=True
Invert=False
TestHardware=False
Rate=False
Step=1
SMin=1
SMax=2
Pulsed=False
Flashing=False
SecondBright=True
SMin2=1
SMax2=1
Brightness=100
Brightness2=25

Hi Thomas,

Searching for some information explaining how to configure Pmsystems and or Phidgets in order to be able to have a functional fuelcrossfeed dim/bright led, I found this thread, which gives me some hope... In fact , my problem is that I don't understand what to do.

I do have pmsytems with 5 16/16/0 phidgets boards + 2 Led64 boards and the OH annunciators have already their leds linked to the Led64 boards, but the Fuelcrossfeed do't have the dim/bright functionnality, because I don't understand how to do it,
Coiuld you please explain it to me in a more detailled manner?

Thanks in advance
Joaquim

At the phidjets.txt on the PMsystems you should put something like that

XXXX LEYY cowlvalve1 MAX2

Where XXXX is the LED64 serial and YY the led number. THe cowlvalve1 is whta you read from PMSYSTEM.

Unfortunately on teh latest PMsystems the transistion is not working again. Ie the cowlvavle would be only OFF or ON :(

FOr further details take a look at the PMSYSTEMS forum
