I have gotten so much of my hardware confused, but I thought I'd better ask - a dumb question - can I use longer USB cables for my Phidget cards and such? I am using them primarily now on a 737 overhead panel and may need longer cables to reach the computer. I was planning on mounting the cards themselves behind the overhead to minmize wiring. Thanks in advance.

Shouldnt be a problem at all.. I too lengthened by extending another full length. :) Im not sure how far you can go but you can definetly reach your PC with no headaches!

We have 15 foot cables for sale and I just bought some 20 footers but haven't put them on the site for sale yet since I don't know if they are really reliable. The supplier promises they are.

We also sell repeater cables which are 16 feet long and are essentually extension cables for USB. You could use one of those and put a hub on the end.

Check out the USB options at this link. I've tried to stock a lot of options for the Phidget users :)

Please email any questions to me, the forums emails aren't working right now for some reason. So if you post I won't get the email. If you want a 20 foot cable, just buy a 16 foot one and put in the notes that you want a 20 foot version.
