This Xmas I think I would like to complete the visual aspect of my single seater airbus cockpit but was wondering what my best options are. From the side of my sidestick box to right of centre console is probably under a 1.5m and would like to fill most of that area for visuals. A projector could fill the area but you need some distance between console and screen which space I dont really have. I was wondering a 60" 1080 HD tv could do the trick as it would fill the area nicely, but could a graphic card control it, and would the lag be too much. Other than that, maybe 2 x 24" lcd monitors on a DH2GO. I dont know what would be best. Any ideas?

You could try an ultra short throw projector which is what I am using - the LG PF1000U.

I am reworking the visuals -- attemping rear projection with very limited space -- so none at this time. There are a few youtube videos up.

USS projectors do not work well with curve screens (so I've heard), so you may want to try the optoma GT1080 projector instead. https://www.amazon.com/Optoma-GT1080-1080p-Gaming-Projector/dp/B00M9D4CAK/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1474151325&sr=1-3&keywords=optoma+1080p+projector
